Welcome to our practitioner support network!

I have been running this group since the start of 2022 as a space for Naturopaths & Nutritionists to support each other. We keep our group relatively small, to ensure that it is a space where you feel safe to connect with peers, share your wins & what you are struggling on.

Every 2 months we have a catch-up – generally these are online but a few times a year we do have face to face gatherings in Melbourne.

In our meetings we will either:

  • Have a peer speaker, presenting on a topic they are passionate about (approx 30-45 mins, followed by 30 min discussion)
  • Have a guest speaker (approx 30-45 mins, followed by 30 min discussion)
  • Meet up with a local rep who provides education on a product or brand
  • Have a face to face get-together to get to know each other
  • Have an online case discussion where those who want to get the opportunity to share an interesting or challenging case – allowing the opportunity for peer-support.

Where possible, some of these meetings are recorded. It really depends on what it is, if any personal information has been shared, and if the speaker & all in attendance are comfortable with being recorded. If a meeting is recorded, it is available to be re-watched for one month.

The current schedule for 2024 looks something like:

We also have an online group where you have the opportunity to connect with, support & be supported by other Naturopaths & Nutritionists.

Moving into professional practice is challenging. It has its ups and downs. Having a strong network who can support you makes a huge difference to how that feels for us as practitioners.

This group is open to all qualified Naturopaths & Nutritionists, as well as final year students who are currently in the student clinic. Please email your association number or proof of enrollment in clinic subjects to: hello@katieblakely.com.au to be accepted into the group.
