The Prenatal by Moode

The Prenatal by Moode is one of my favourite prenatal supplements to use for Mamas in clinic – for preconception care, during pregnancy & postpartum.

Why?

The hard capsules are basically flavourless. They’re vegan and free from gluten, dairy, soy, sulfites, artificial flavours and GMOs. AND they’re Australian made.

Choose The Prenatal by Moode if you’re looking for:

  • Mini- capsules that are easy to swallow.
  • Folinic acid, for its increased bioavailability
  • Championing Choline, with 300mg in every dose
  • Iron free formulation, avoiding gastrointestinal upset (and to support iron absorption – keep an eye out for a blog on this)
  • A supplement that has been designed consciously, thinking about pregnancy nausea.

Best taken 3+ months before conception, and right throughout pregnancy, postpartum and breastfeeding.

Always read the label and follow the directions for use. Book an Online Acute Consultation with Women’s Health Naturopath, Katie, if you want to know if this product is right for you.

Recommended Dosage:

We recommend taking one capsule of The Prenatal twice daily for best results. If it's easier for you, 2 capsules once daily also works a treat.

Ideally, start taking The Prenatal 3-6 months prior to trying to conceive.

Should my partner be doing Preconception Care too?

It's a big yes from us at Katie Blakely Wellness. In our clinic in Croydon, we offer Naturopathic & Nutritional support to those wanting to start (or grow) a family. You can read more about the basics of preconception care for men & why we recommend it to Dads here.

For Dads we recommend Naturobest Preconception Multi for Men.
